It was built in 1760 and still has original features, along with free on-street parking and en suite rooms. Acorn Lodge is a 5-minute bus ride from the shops of Princes Street and Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station. The waterfront at Leith, the Royal Yacht Britannia and the bars and restaurants of the Ocean Terminal shopping centre are also a short bus trip away. The en suite rooms have central heating, constant hot water, radio alarm clocks, ironing facilities, TVs and tea/coffee. Full cooked Scottish breakfasts are available at an additional cost and the breakfast menu also offers a range of other options, including vegetarian breakfasts.
