Acorn Lodge

The Acorn Lodge was built in 1760 and still has its original features. Free on street parking, various breakfast menus (including vegetarian) all rooms with ensuite, family room, full central heating, constant hot water, radio alarm clock, ironing facilities, colour television, plus tea and coffee making facilities. Only a 5 minute bus journey into the city centre, were you can see the castle, Princes Street & the Royal Mile. We feel you will truly enjoy staying at the Acorn Lodge.

Edinburgh airport is situated to the west of the city & is only 20mins away by car. A comprehensive network of bus routes will help you explore the city of Edinburgh. Close by is the historic port of Leith, It is the final resting place of the decommissioned Royal Yacht Britannia, which has been restored to it's former beauty.
Area information The guest house is close to the shore and its thriving local community with well-known pubs and restaurants. Ocean Terminal shopping centre is located on the waterfront in Leith. It is easily accessible by car or by the 22 bus, which runs from the end of the street every 5 minutes.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
