Free on street parking, various breakfast menus (including vegetarian) all rooms with ensuite, family room, full central heating, constant hot water, radio alarm clock, ironing facilities, colour television, plus tea and coffee making facilities. Only a 5 minute bus journey into the city centre, were you can see the castle, Princess Street & the Royal Mile. We feel you will truly enjoy staying at the Acorn Lodge.

The Acorn Lodge is conveniently located for all of edinburghs attractions & is within easy reach of all major transport systems. Edinburgh airport is situated to the west of the city & is only 20mins away by car. A comprehensive network of bus routes will help you explore the city of Edinburgh. Close by is the historic port of Leith, It is the final resting place of the decommissioned Royal Yacht Britannia, which has been restored to it's former beauty.

As well as Edinburgh's main attractions the guest house is close to the shore with it's thriving local community with famous pubs and well known restaurants. Ocean Terminal shopping centre is located on the waterfront in Leith & is the centrepiece of Europe's largest waterfront regeneration. This quality shopping & leisure destination, designed by Sir Terence Conran & with magnificent views across the sea to Fife hosts a colourful collection of over 75 stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops & a twelve-screen cinema. It is easily accessible by car or by the 22 bus at the end of our street which runs every 5 min.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Extra beds are not available.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
