Travel information

From the Airport: Either take taxi, the Airport Link double decker bus to Haymarket or the Airport Shuttle bus, which will stop at the hotel. From Haymarket Station: Edinburgh’s 2nd Railway station is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel: - Exit the station and turn left along Haymarket Terrace. - Continue walking and cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. - Continue along the opposite side of Haymarket Terrace until the road opens at the bus stop; the Apex European sits away from the road on the right-hand side. By car: From Glasgow: - Take the A8. - Follow signs to Haymarket Station. - Once you reach Haymarket, head for Haymarket Terrace, with the Railway station on the left-hand side. - Continue along the road for 500 yards and the Apex European Hotel sits on the right-hand side, just before Donaldson House, which is the large building within the high railings.

Area information

The Haymarket Area is to the West End of the New Town in Edinburgh. It is only 5 minutes walk from Princes Street and George Street, Edinburgh's main shopping areas, while the EICC and Lothian Road are also within a 5 minute walk for those on business. 20 minutes walk along Haymarket Terrace from the hotel brings you to Murrayfield and 15 minutes walk along Dalry Road brings you to Gorgie and Tynecastle Stadium.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 9.50 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 12.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
