Frederick House Hotel has no bar or restaurant facilities on site, therefore guests enjoy breakfast in the award winning Rick's Restaurant, located on the opposite side of Frederick Street to the hotel. There are many lively bars, great restaurants and bistros for you to choose from at other meal times. On 25th & 26th December & 1st January each year, Rick's is closed for breakfast. A continental breakfast box for each guest is provided in the fridge in their rooms.

Travel information

Walking from Princes Street (Airlink bus stop): - Turn into Frederick Street and cross over George Street and the hotel is on your left-hand side, beside the Post Office and opposite Cafe Rouge. By car from Queen Street: - Turn into Frederick Street. The hotel is on the right, next to the Post Office. Parking: You can buy on-street tickets at pay metres on the surrounding streets or the closest multi-storey car park is at the St. James shopping centre. Full directions will be given on arrival at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
