Leylandii HouseVictorian ex-rectory located in a country setting, 3 miles from Hereford city centre. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere in relaxed, peaceful surroundings. Leylandii House was originally built in 1840 as a rectory for the local church and has been substantially restored over the past 2 years. It now serves as a Bed and Breakfast and still retains many of its original features. Guests can expect peace and solitude in this quiet country location close to Hereford. All of the rooms have been decorated in period colours and furnished to a high standard. The towels are soft and fluffy, the linen crispy and fresh and the breakfasts filling and generous.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:00. Dinner is served from 18:00 until 21:00.

We have a non-smoking in the house policy, but guests are welcome to smoke anywhere in the garden if they wish. If paying by credit card, a further 5% charge must be levied against the final total to cover the same amount charged to us by the banks.

Travel information

Leaving Hereford on the a465 heading towards Abergavenny, you will pass a Tesco superstore on your right. Go straight on through the roundabout (still on the a465) and take the second right (after about half a mile) signposted to Hay on Wye and is the b4348. Follow this for about 1 mile and take the first on the right, signposted to Ruckhall and also Clehonger Church. The house is the third on the left.
