Food & Beverages

The restaurant and private dining rooms are all finished in crisp, cool, contemporary white, with high ceilings, original Victorian cornices and fireplaces, wooden floors, dark leather dining chairs and bright oil paintings. This all comes together to provide diners with a casual, contemporary feel. The style of food has its foundation in traditional and modern British favourites influenced by the cultures and cooking of many countries. There is a focus on fresh ingredients and regional seasonal produce. The restaurant is very popular, especially at weekends. It is advisable to pre-book a table for dinner. To avoid disappointment, please call the hotel prior to your arrival to book a table.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

17.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15 per night per person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 20 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
