The hotel is at the final stage of its refurbishment programme, this will commence from 7 January 2008 to 22 February 2008. The refurbishment will take place in the public areas: the lobby bar, restaurant and main hotel entrance. Sampans, Callaghans and room service will not be affected. Both menus will be in operation over this period.

The hotel is located near to the motorway network with easy access to the M56, M60 and M62. Manchester city centre is 9 miles away, direct train access from Manchester Airport runs every 10 minutes. Travel information The Hotel is easily accessible from junction 5 off the M56, signposted Manchester Airport. By Car: - From the motorway proceed through the traffic lights to the 1st roundabout. - Take the 1stt exit, following signs for British Airways Terminal 3. - At the next roundabout take the 1st exit left and then a sharp left.
