Sleep comes easy with deep sprung mattresses, with the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen and comfy duvets. Indulge in luxurious over-sized bathrooms, designed using marble, granite and limestone, each with its own exquisite style. Many bathrooms have ‘his and her’s’ wash basins and polished Victorian style bateau baths, whilst others have a 2-person tub and some have partner showers. Unique to Alexander House is their own natural range of ‘Zing’ toiletries and use of luxury towelling robes and slippers. All bedrooms and suites are equipped with amenities you would expect to find in a luxury 4-star hotel, including a deluxe tea and coffee tray and mineral water. Food & Beverages

Alexander’s Restaurant is renowned for its fabulous modern European cuisine, rare wines and vintage ports. Menus emphasise the goodness of fresh, natural ingredients carefully prepared and artistically presented, with many selected from the local area. Enjoy an extensive world-class wine list featuring over 200 bins. The hotel has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for high standards of cuisine, and has achieved the RAC Level 4 dining award. Reflections offers guests relaxed dining in a sleek modern environment, overlooking a beautiful central courtyard. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering meals including classic favourites, light bites, salads and vegetarian options. The restaurant comes complete with its own champagne bar and funky interiors. In Flames Courtyard, guests can dine al fresco throughout the summer and well into the crisp autumn months, when a log fire pit will be lit on colder evenings. Please note that the fine dining restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings; however, the Reflections restaurant is open 7 days a week.

The Therapy Pool, Indoor Spa, Exercise Pool and Outdoor Hot Tub will be closed from 04-14 January 2010 (inclusive).

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

17.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
