Garden LodgeJust 10 minutes’ drive from the Eurotunnel Terminal, the Garden Lodge boasts a swimming pool, fitness room and free private car park. A full English or vegetarian breakfast is available. Environmentally friendly, the Garden Lodge bed and breakfast uses solar heating for showers and pool. A heat-exchange system is used to heat the rooms. Rooms at the Garden Lodge all have a TV and DVD-player. Bathroom amenities include hair straighteners, toiletries and bathrobes The dining room is decorated in a Balinese style and features Balinese jewellery. Cooked breakfasts, including kippers or vegetarian sausages and bacon, are available as well as cereal, fruit and toast. All jams and preserves are home-made featuring home-grown fruit and vegetables. Dover Ferry Port is a 15-minute drive away. Cars can be left in the hotel car park during your trip and transfers provided for a fee – please contact the hotel after booking to confirm details. Dover Castle and the cathedral city of Canterbury are both 20 minutes’ drive from Garden Lodge. The beaches at Folkestone and the Battle of Britain Memorial are 10 minutes away.

Payment Information: Cash is accepted, along with credit and debit cards (see accepted credit card list). An administration fee of 1.45% is added by the hotel to all credit card payments made to the hotel. Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance if they require a late check-in from 22:00-22:30. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is not applicable.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years are charged GBP 16 per night per person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 20 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
