The restaurant, awarded 2 AA Rosettes features sandstone columns framing picture windows overlooking the lovely walled garden. Menus are created monthly using the freshest, local seasonal ingredients, including herbs and fruits from the garden.

Travel information By Car From junction 40 (Penrith) of the M6 motorway: - Follow signs for the A66 towards Appleby, Brough and Scotch Corner. - Temple Sowerby is within a 10 minute drive of the motorway. - Follow the hotel signs off the Temple Sowerby bypass. - From Scotch Corner (A1), take the A66. - 7 miles past Appleby, follow the signs from the bypass.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

17.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy
