A short drive from both the A3 and M25 motorways, this is a convenient and picturesque base from which to explore Guildford and the Surrey Hills. Relax in the cosy bar area, non-smoking conservatory or riverside garden; relaxed surroundings for sampling a real ale, wine or cappuccino. A range of contemporary and traditional cuisine is available with a daily specials menu adding welcome variety. Each room is fitted with an en suite bathroom and a variety of practical and convenient facilties, including an LCD television. Whilst the majority of the rooms are situated in The Drummond Arms itself, there are 3 housed in an attractive converted cottage, just a few steps away.

Cancellation policy

Reservations must be cancelled one day in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:30. Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:30.

A continental breakfast is served each day, altough a full English breakfast is also available. Lunch is served between 12:00 and 15:00 on Sundays. Child Policy: When 2 or more adults stay with children, the 'Family Room' option must be used.

Travel information

By car: From the M25 (9 miles / 14.5 km): - Exit the M25 for Leatherhead. - Take the Leatherhead Bypass Road (the A243, becoming the A24 at the roundabout) - At the 2nd roundabout, stay on the A24 (take the 1st exit onto Dorking Road). - As you approach Dorking, take a right into Ashcombe Road (A2003). - Take the next left into Chalkpit Lane (becoming Station Road). - At the T-junction, turn right into Westcott Road (the A25). - Travel through Westcott, Wotton, Gomshall and Shere. - Turn left on Shere Road for Sherbourne, which will take you to Albury. - Keep a look out for the Drummond Arms on your right. From the A3 (5 miles / 8 km): - Exit the A3 for Ripley. - Proceed until you come to a roundabout, and take the A247 towards West Clandon. - At the end of the A247, head straight across the junction onto the A25 (Shere Road). - Turn right where prompted (onto Sherbourne) for Albury. - Keep a look out for the Drummond Arms on your right. Parking: Free parking is available at the rear of the building, with space for around 30 vehicles.

Guildford House Gallery (4 miles / 6.5 km) - this ornate 17th century town house is now home to the borough's art collection. The work of local artists dating back to the 1700s is displayed alongside special exhibitions.
