By Car (from Corby): - Take the A427 towards Rockingham, the A6003 through Caldecott and then the B672. - Follow signs to Harringworth and Seaton Road (main road through village). - From A1 take the A47 towards Leicester. - Take the B672 (signposted Caldecott) and follow signs to Harringworth.

Area information

Harringworth is a beautiful stone village set in Northamptonshire countryside,just on the Rutland border. Nearby facilities include various fishing and shooting opportunities, Rutland water, Rockingham speedway and the market towns of Uppingham and Oakham. Popular local attractions include: Rutland County Museum (11km) - An ironstone building originating from 1794. Oakham Castle (11km) - A perfect example of late 20th Century archistecture. Barnsdale Gardens (13km) - Home to Geoff Hamilton of BBC2's Gardener's World, there are 37 individual gardens all connected together via linking borders to give over 8 acres of gardens to explore.
