Travel information

By car: - Enter Tarbert via the A83. - Continue until you reach Barmore Road. - Look out for a yellow building overlooking the harbour. This is the hotel. By bus: - Scottish Citylink operates the 926 (to Campbeltown) and 976 (to Oban) services from Glasgow. Both stop in Tarbert, on the A83, a short distance from the hotel.

Area information

Tarbert Music Festival (surrounding) - each September, Tarbert hosts a music festival. Catering for a variety of styles with bands both local and from farther afield, venues are set-up all over the village. Tarbert Castle (500 m) - a short walk uphill on a footpath off Harbour Street will bring you to the ivy covered remains of this 13th century Royal castle. Tarbert Golf Course (2.3 miles / 3.7 km) - an attractive 9 hole course is situated just north of the village, on the B8024 to Kilberry.
